An excursion to the Sydney Royal Easter Show is an amazing opportunity for students and compliments the new syllabus requirements for mandatory agriculture topics from early stage 1 through to stage 5. Full of interactive, educational and fun experiences the Easter Show is a great yearly excursion for all ages!

Schools Excursions
Full of hands-on activities, interactive sessions, competitions and performances, the Show is the perfect opportunity to obtain a snapshot of Australian agriculture.
School tickets to the Show are available to NSW and ACT public schools, and registered non-government schools. Students must attend as a school group with teacher supervision.

Student Workshops
Attending the Show with your students? The student workshops for secondary school students are back at the 2025 Easter Show on Friday 11th April 2025.
These workshops are run by experts in their fields to create an educational and interactive experience that also helps meet various curriculum outcomes, such as Stage 4 Mandatory Technology and Stage 5 Agriculture and Food Technology.
The 2025 Food Technology workshops are $15 per student (in addition to their entry ticket). Two workshops will be available and will be confirmed soon!

Primary Preview Day
The RAS Education Team is hosting Primary School students for an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at the Show before the rest of the public!
Join us on a Paddock-to-Plate journey and gain VIP entrance for your classes into the Primary School Preview Day! With only limited places available, Primary Preview Day is targeted for Years 4, 5 & 6 students, so make sure you plan your excursions early.
Students will enjoy hands-on activities in a round-robin of interesting, engaging and educational workshops. They will have the opportunity to learn about how food and fibre is produced in Australia using the latest and greatest technologies in the Woolworths Ag Discovery and Farmyard Nursery.
Make sure to check out the RAS website for teaching resources, programs and pre and post excursions activities that promote science, history and geography skills.

OOSH
Outside of School Hours (OOSH) tickets will be available again in 2025! OOSH tickets are available on weekdays in the school holiday period. In 2025, OOSH tickets will be able to be purchase on the 14th – 17th and 22nd April.
OOSH excursions provide a fantastic school holiday experiences that is interactive, educations and fun!
When: Monday 14th to Thursday 17th and Tuesday 22nd April 2025
